What do I need to bring for my dog’s stay?

Please bring current vaccination records, any medications your dog requires, a comfort item from home (blanket or toy), feeding instructions, and emergency contact information.

What vaccinations are required for boarding?

Dogs must have current rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Nasal bordetella vaccines are not accepted. Records should be provided at check-in, and vaccinations must be at least two weeks old to allow immunity to take effect.

Do you accept puppies for boarding?

Yes, we accept puppies 16 weeks and older, provided they have received their initial vaccination series. Puppies require additional attention and monitoring during their stay.

What size kennels do you have?

We offer small, medium, large, and extra-large kennels to accommodate all dog sizes. During your tour, we can help you select the appropriate size for your dog’s comfort.

Can my dogs stay together in the same kennel?

Yes, dogs from the same household can share a kennel if they get along well. If kennel staff feels they are not doing well together, we will separate them. We recommend discussing multi-dog arrangements when booking to ensure proper setup.

Do you provide food or should I bring my dog’s own food?

We do have food, but we recommend bringing your dog’s regular food to maintain their normal diet and prevent digestive issues. Please clearly label all food and provide feeding instructions. We can also discuss alternative options during your consultation.

How often are dogs let out and exercised?

Dogs have indoor / outdoor runs, and they can utilize the outdoor run multiple times per day.  Dogs are also let out for 15 minutes a day for a fee.

What if my dog has special dietary needs or requires medication?

We absolutely accommodate special diets and medications. Please inform us at booking, and provide food and medicine along with clear written instructions. Medications must be clearly labeled with your dog’s name and dosage information.

Can I tour the facility before booking?

Yes, tours are welcome and highly encouraged. We recommend visiting before your first stay so you can see our facilities and your dog can become comfortable with the environment and staff.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled stay receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48 hours may be non-refundable.

Do you have staff on-site overnight?

Yes, we have trained staff member who lives at the facility. She checks in on the dogs overnight, ensuring the comfort and safety of every guest.

What happens if my dog gets sick while boarding?

We monitor all dogs closely for signs of illness. If your dog becomes sick, we contact you immediately to let you know what is happening with your dog.  If you are not available, you can authorize a family member to take your dog to your vet.  If nobody is available, one of our staff will take your dog to a veterinarian of the kennel’s choice.

Do you board aggressive dogs?

We work with dogs of all temperaments on a case-by-case basis. We ask that you be honest about your dog’s behavior so we can provide appropriate care and ensure the safety of all dogs in our facility.  If we feel that your dog will not do well in our environment, we may not accept the dog.
